Erin Bell
I am a Nutritionist, Herbalist and Holistic Allergist, having completed my nutrition and herbalist studies with the Alive Academy of Natural Health in British Columbia and received the Holistic Allergist designation at the Institute of Natural Health in Oakville, Ontario. I now own and operate BIOS Natural Health in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
I'm also the author of the book entitled Miss Diagnosed, Unraveling Chronic Stress, which was featured in Woman’s World Magazine in the March 23, 2008 edition. I am a proud wife of a firefighter in Ontario and have one beautiful daughter Elizabeth, aged 3.
I love the outdoors, running, camping, cats and the beach! I am one of 5 fabulous siblings. My passions include nutrition, research and writing. As a former gymnast, I am one of the few people on earth flexible enough to flip my tongue over completely… both ways, no hands! You really have to see this to believe it!

Janine Bolton
I am a graduate from the University of Alberta's Nutritional Sciences program and completed a Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietitian. I am passionate about creating healthier food environments for our kids to grow up in, and completed my undergraduate research on the impacts of sugar sweetened beverages on childhood obesity.
In my past life I worked as a personal trainer and competed in a Provincial fitness competition. My nutrition philosophy as evolved a lot since those days. I believe that nutrition is more than protein, carbs and fat, and includes everything from how our food is produced to how it gets on our plate.
I am a foodie through and through, and started my own nutrition and "green eating" blog in 2008 (FactOrFictionNutritionBlog.com). When I take my nutritionist hat off, my other passion is our planet. I founded "Leaders in Environmentally Accountable Foodservice" (LEAF), a non-profit organization to help Canadian restaurants become more environmentally sustainable (LEAFMe.ca). When I'm not working, you'll find me being active outdoors, running, hiking or playing tennis. I am also an amateur photographer and love to travel.

After a lifetime of tight hamstrings, she is facing her fear of the seated forward bend and finishing her yoga certification. When she is not writing or researching she enjoys volunteering in her local community, spending her weekends at the beach and hanging out with her husband Will, who after a lifetime aversion to health food, concedes that his wife makes the world’s best smoothies.
